| Pictures on your monitor will not be nearly as good as an actual finished piece, particularly pieces on Canvas. Canvas pieces are multi-coated. Actual prints are from files several hundred to several thousand times as large as files on line and have a wider color spectrum. | Canvas prints will come to you stretched, gallery-wrapped (meaning the print will extend over the sides of the stretcher bars), and coated with multiple protective coatings. Allow 4 to 8 weeks for delivery. Since the pieces are gallery-wrapped, you will not need to do anything but hang it as it is. |
| Prints on fine art paper: Fine art Paper is 100% cotton-rag generally termed Archival. Each print is matted with conservation-grade mat board (single mat) and backed with an acid-free foam-core backer. Mats are off-white. A discussion of mat colors is under General Information. An off-white is similar to the standard color used by the British Museum now for over 150 years. See discussion under general information. Mat sizes are listed at this link (click here).
